Nature Where else would you derive inspiration for a natural design other than from nature itself? The Dutch designer Bertjan Pot must have had the same thought. The Moooi Heracleum is entirely derived from the ‘Berenklauw’ plant, known as ‘Heracleum’ in Latin. The random tangle of stems and the white flowers of the plant are instantly recognisable even with a minimum of imagination. Perfect everywhere One of the great advantages of the Moooi Heracleum is that it can be used almost anywhere. In the living room, above the dining table, in the entrance hall or in the bedroom: the Heracleum will always catch the eye. It is also a very popular lamp in the professional sphere. The Heracleum will look magnificent in a meeting room or waiting room, but also be completely at home in a restaurant or hotel. Flexible The Moooi Heracleum is available in several versions. Emperor er en serie lamper designet av Neri & Hu for Moooi i 2009 og presenteres her som en taklampe i tre størrelser. Skjermen er designet som et fuglebur og flettet for hånd i bambus, noe som gjør hvert eksemplar unikt. Emperor er tilgjengelig med rød eller svart beis. Lyskilden er omgitt av frostet glass, noe som betyr at lampen sprer en varm, myk glød i rommet. Emperor kommer med en svart tekstilkledd ledning og svart takkopp. Serien inkluderer også en bordlampe med samme formspråk.  Neri & Hu har hentet inspirasjonen bak Emperor fra det velkjente asiatiske eventyret om Nattergalen og tolket eventyret i et moderne lampedesign.
